Explore our core manufacturing portfolio of international-standard structural materials and specialized wire solutions.
Strategically situated in Tangshan City, Hebei Province—the absolute center of China’s steel manufacturing industry—Hansheng Technology has evolved since 2006 into a global authority on high-performance metallurgy. Backed by nearly two decades of deep export expertise, we operate 8 state-of-the-art production lines yielding an annual output of 300,000 to 650,000 metric tons. Our geographical proximity (150 kilometers to both the major Tianjin Seaport and the capital Beijing) provides an optimal logistics nexus for efficient international delivery.
We specialized in advanced structural steel materials, including Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) flat sheets, slitting coils, hot/cold rolled steel coils, GI/GL sheets, and spring steel bars. Every single batch is manufactured under strict quality management processes conforming to international standards like GB, JIS, ASTM, DIN, EN, and AS/NZS. We prioritize the principles of "honoring contracts, keeping promises," and providing clear information gain to our international engineering and procurement partners.
High-throughput processing centers backed by decades of proven engineering standards.
Pre-shipment inspection is performed for each individual batch. Certified under ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001, assuring chemical composition integrity.
We ship products exactly according to contracts—on time, within precise dimensional tolerance, and matching specified coating thickness profiles.
Our active operations in regional distribution hubs prevent structural supply chain delays. Strategic stocks are maintained to mitigate spot-price fluctuations.
A technical whitepaper analyzing the performance benefits, chemical kinetics, and processing tolerances of Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium coated steels.
Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) represents the pinnacle of anti-corrosion barrier coatings for steel. Standard hot-dip galvanized (GI) coatings rely on pure zinc sacrifice, while Galvalume (GL) uses an aluminum-zinc blend. ZAM introduces magnesium (typically 1.5% to 3%) alongside aluminum (normally 5% to 11%), creating a ternary alloy structure that exhibits extreme durability. The addition of magnesium forms a highly stable, dense zinc-magnesium carbonate-based corrosion product (Simonkolleite) that adheres tightly to the steel base metal.
This compound acts as a physical shield, slowing the rate of oxygen diffusion and reducing corrosion velocity to a fraction of that seen in traditional hot-dip galvanized steels. In salt-spray testing, ZAM flat sheets outperform standard galvanized sheets by up to ten times, making it the default specification for challenging environmental classifications (C4 and C5-M).
Self-Healing Phenomenon: The ultimate advantage of ZAM flat sheets is their ability to self-heal along slit edges. When the coil is slit into flat bars or sheets, the bare steel edge is exposed. Over time, zinc, aluminum, and magnesium ions from the coating dissolve slightly and migrate to the cut edge, creating a dense protective film of basic zinc salt. This prevents red rust from creeping inward, eliminating the need for post-cut hot-dip galvanization.
Processing ZAM from coil form into flat sheets requires strict mechanical tolerances. Because the coating is slightly harder and less ductile than traditional zinc coatings, the slitting line must utilize specialized, micro-aligned rotary knives. Poorly calibrated slitting equipment can cause micro-fracturing of the alloy coating at the shear interface or result in high burr limits.
The global market for ZAM flat sheets and structural shapes is experiencing exponential growth, driven largely by the transition to renewable energy and long-lifecycle infrastructure. In solar mounting structures (PV tracker rails, profiles), ZAM has rapidly replaced hot-dip galvanized profiles due to its lower weight-to-strength ratio and superior edge protection. In the HVAC and agricultural industries, ZAM is preferred for containment tanks, grain silos, and animal housing where ammonia levels degrade standard coatings in less than three years. Domestically and internationally, major steel giants are expanding ZAM capacity, positioning this ternary alloy as the global replacement for standard galvanized panels.
The field performance of ZAM varies by local macro-climatic environments:
Where ZAM alloy technology is heading—incorporating next-generation coating processes and environmental considerations.
Developing custom chemical blends with tailored magnesium concentrations (ranging from 1.0% to 3.5%) to maximize ductility for complex automotive and structural components without compromising self-healing performance.
Eliminating hexavalent chromium completely in the passivation bath. Next-generation coatings utilize advanced organic-inorganic hybrid passivations to increase fingerprint resistance and paint adhesion properties.
Expanding the processing range for thick-coated ZAM sheets (up to 450 g/m² combined coating weight) for high-load heavy industrial structural applications, replacing heavy hot-dip galvanized parts entirely.
How ZAM flat sheets integrate with structural members to create resilient engineering solutions.
By slitting high-tensile ZAM coils into custom widths, fabricators roll-form complex structural shapes (C-channels, Sigma profiles). This creates solar tracker structural frameworks with lifetime durability and excellent resistance to wind loads and abrasive sandstorms.
Industrial buildings utilize custom ZAM sheets to form ventilation ducts and heavy-duty electrical cable trays. ZAM sheets provide natural shield protection along perforations and joint seams, preventing corrosion due to moisture accumulation.
Due to constant exposure to high-humidity, agricultural waste, and corrosive cleaning chemicals, traditional steel panels fail prematurely. ZAM flat sheets provide the extreme resistance needed for roofing, walls, and structural joists.
